COVID-19 Updates and Information
Creative Wellness Institute is continuing to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19. The health and safety of those we serve and our team of counselors is our top priority.
In response to the CDC’s best practices for prevention of COVID-19 we have suspended in-house services. Our counselors are providing individual, couples and group sessions using online and telephonic methods of communication. This includes private practice clients, StrongGirls, StrongParents and KIS groups. Please be in touch with your counselor if you have any questions.
Tips for Staying Healthy as recommended by the CDC:
- Wear a mask or face covering when around others or out in public.
- Practice physical distancing by keeping at least six feet from others.
- Wash your hands often and carefully with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick AND do not go out in public when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue AND use a face covering or mask.
- Use disinfectant wipes to clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- Get a flu vaccine.
- If you experience flu-like symptoms, seek medical attention and avoid public spaces.
Creative Wellness Institute will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates on in-house services as needed.
